This is a beautiful small town with surrounding tea gardens, hills and Gorges in Jalpaiguri Dist,[ North Bengal], West Bengal, India. Original inhabitants are Rajbanshis with a similar cultural background like cooch. Due to massive influx during partitation people from the then East Bengal out numbered the original inhabitants. Now there is a mixed culture of Rajbangshi and East Bengal.
The place is famous for highest jute production and marketing, the biggest HAT[ whole sale bazar]in Asia. Nature has added the highest degree of beauty to the place.

Gorumara National Park:
Dhupguri Gorumara National Park Distance - 44 kms. Gorumara National Park is a National Park in northern West Bengal, India. Located in the Terai region of the Himalayan foothills, it is a medium-sized park with grasslands and forests. It is primarily known for its population of Indian Rhinoceros.
Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary:
Dhupguri Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary Distance - 53 kms. The most famous destination in Dooars is Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctuary, situated in Alipurduar Sub-division of Jalpaiguri district in West Bengal near India – Bhutan boarder. It is under the heavy rainfall zone, so the forest is mainly savannah covered with tall elephant grasses. River Torsha runs through the sanctuary.
The Madhubani is one of the finest place
There is a Vidyaashram, a self-sufficient village following the ideals of Mahatma Gandhi, near Dhupguri established by Dhirendra Nath Dasgupta.
Transport
The town is well connected with roads and rail network, National highway no.31 is running across the middle of the city besides State highways connecting Siliguri and Coochbehar also passes over Dhupguri. However, passenger vehicles on roads are not much available once the sun sets.
Dhupguri Railway Station has unique distinction of providing connection to all parts of the country through passenger train service. Many long distance trains including superfast trains daily pass through Dhupguri station and provide link between north, west and southern parts of India with north eastern regions. The town is also connected by road to many parts of West Bengal.
