Bindu is only 107 km from Siliguri. The last hamlet of West Bengal, Bindu is a valley encircled with hills of Bhutan and India on the banks of river Jaldhaka.

Bindu is scenically placed among the high mountains all around with Jaldhaka River flowing through the valley making a natural border with Bhutan and India. Bindu Dam : Bindu Dam has been constructed on the Jaldhaka River in order to supply water to Jaldhaka Hydel Project. Travellers visiting Bindu Dam during winters can enjoy the glimpse of snow clad mountains.

Jaldhaka Hydel Project : The first hydroelectric project of India can be visited with the prior permission of the WBSEB authorities.


Gairibas Diascorrea Plantation : Gairibas Diascorrea Plantation is located on the way to Bindu and is thronged by number of tourists. Moreover, the cultivation of medicinal plants is undertaken on a major part of the region, Diascorrea.

Godak Village : Godak village is situated 15 km from Bindu and is renowned for its tribal goddess. The House of Goddess, popularly known as Debi sthan, is visited by devotees to worship river which originates from a rock that never dries.
