There are several forest areas that comprise the sanctuary including Kalijhora, Latpanchor, Punding, Sukna, Gulma, Toribari, Sevoke, Seventh Mile and Latlong. The sanctuary is an ideal place for wildlife lovers.

Sevok: The famous Sevok coronation bridge is about 5 kms from here. You may take a drive or even walk through the hilly road to visit “Sevok Bagpool”. Once here, don’t forget to visit the Sevokeswari Kalimandir, the temple of Kali that is an attraction for the locals as well as tourists.

What to See at Mongpong: Enjoying the breathtaking views of the region and its natural beauties is perhaps the best thing that you can do. A very good view of Great Himalaya is available from here along with the river view which divides into several streams in the forestry environments.

How to Reach Mongpong: Mongpong is some 29 kilometers from Siliguri. It is better if you reach New Jalpaiguri railway station and from there, you can easily hire a car. Cars can also be hired from Siliguri. All the buses heading towards Dooars go via Monpong.
