Raimatang is 109km.away from Jalpaiguri &45 km away from Alipurduar town, surrounded by rivers and hills, Raimatang is a nice place to enjoy the beauty of nature. Scenic beauty is the point of attraction of these places. The forest surrounding the village is famous for Elephants among other wild life. During the harvesting season, almost every night elephants come to the village during the night. The nearest populated area is Kalchini. Raimatang is nearly 18 kilometers from Alipurduar. It is advisable to keep the vehicle while touring.

The wide riverbed close to the village can be visited during day time. There is also a trek from Raimatang to Lepchakha through Aadma and Chunabhati. The trek distance is about 20 kms and can be covered with an overnight stay in Chunabhati.

Road : NH-31 & East West Corridor. Important bus stands are Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus at Siliguri, Santipara Bus Stand at Jalpaiguri & Alipurduar Bus stand at Alipurduar, Jalpaiguri district.
Rail Way : The most important Railway Station in the North-East India is New Jalpaiguri (NJP). NJP is connected with all major stations in India. And other important Railway Stations are JALPAIGURI TOWN STATION, JALPAIGURI ROAD STATION, Raninagar Station, New Mal Junction, Alipurduar, New Coochbehar.
