Tiger Hill is at a distance of 15 km. from Darjeeling. Situated at an altitude of 2590 metres (8482 ft.). An early morning trip to the Tiger Hill promises an unique experience. A view of the sunrise amidst the Himalayan range has earned it an international fame. From here you can get a glimpse of Mount Everest, the highest mountain and Kanchenjunga range.

For the botanist, an animal and nature lover Darjeeling offers several Tourist places of interest. At the Lloyd Botanical garden all tourists may enjoy the captivating collection of alpine flora and orchids. Darjeeling also has the Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park. Kalimpong:  (4100 ft) is another charming hill station in the district of Darjeeling. 65km from Siliguri and 56km from Darjeeling.

For air transport to Darjeeling the nearest airport is at Bagdogra. There are regular flights that connect Bagdogra with Kolkata. For train transport the railhead at Siliguri is the nearest to Darjeeling. You may even enjoy the toy train that runs from New Jalpaiguri/Siliguri to Darjeeling. The nearest bus station to Darjeeling is at Siliguri.

Mesmerizing Views of the Surrounding Mountains at Kurseong Trip


Kurseong is a town in Darjeeling district in the northern part of West Bengal, India. It is the little sister of the Queen of the Hills further up the track. The quiet town is an up and coming tourist destination and this is an ideal place to relax and unwind from the hectic pace of urban life.
