Samsing
is a nice cool shady place, ideal for nature lovers. As you enter Dooars
through the National Highway 31, you will cross Malbazar to reach Chalsa. From
Chalsa take a left turn and drive on for 15 kms via Meteli to reach Samsing.
The last few kilometres drive is a feast for the eyes as you pass through some
of the most picturesque tea gardens of Dooars including the Chalsa Tea Garden, Zurantee
Tea Garden and Samsing Tea Garden.

to See at SAMSING:
Suntalekhola: Suntalekhola is
where many tourists stay overnight. One of the most preferred locations of the
tourists near Samsing is Suntaleykhola, located at a distance of 5 km. from the
destination. Suntaleykhola is also the starting point of various trek routes.
Listen to the eternal tunes of water of the winding Murti River while exploring
the bank of Suntaleykhola.
Rocky
Island:
Another attractive tourist spot is the `Rocky island nature resort` on the
banks of river Murti. This is about 2 km from Samsing. The view of the river
and surrounding forests are excellent from Rocky Island. An audacious night
stay is enjoyable here if travelers hire tents for a night. Unlike other spots
of Samsing Rocky Island can be the best adventurous honeymoon destination
amongst other offbeat places of North Bengal.
River
Murti:
Murti is a picturesque tourist spot located on the banks of the Murti River in
the Dooars region of Northern Bengal. You can also take a dip in the crystal
clear waters of Murti River or do some fishing whenever you like. The river is
small enough too crossed on foot during most of the year except the Monsoon
months.

Reach SAMSING.....
By Rail: The most important
railway Junction is New Jalpaiguri (NJP) and New Mall Junction which is only 19
kms from Samsing.
By Air: Bagdogra airport
is the nearest and major airport. Various parts of Dooars are approximately 1 -
2 hours’ drive from Bagdogra Airport.
By Road: Samsing is located
at a distance of 82 km. from Siliguri and it takes around 3 hours to reach from
Siliguri. It is better for tourists from Kolkata to get down at New Mall
Junction which is only 19 kms from Samsing. Cars can be hired from New Mall
Junction for Samsing.
